BC Hydro heat-pump bonus: what must happen by October 31, 2026?

BC Hydro says eligible applicants may receive up to $1,000 in limited bonus rebates for a qualifying air-source heat-pump upgrade. To qualify for the promotional bonus, the eligible installation must be completed, invoiced and paid between August 1 and October 31, 2026. A complete rebate application must be submitted by November 30, 2026.

Funding is limited, offered to eligible BC Hydro applicants on a first-come, first-served basis while funds last, and may change or end without notice. The rebate cannot exceed the eligible invoiced and paid cost. Always confirm the current terms with BC Hydro before committing to work.

Can condo and apartment owners qualify?
