Known equipment and released history.
Equipment type, manufacturer, model, serial number, installation information, service summaries, inspection results and recommendations can appear when those details are legitimately known and released.
Useful continuity
Equipment context, service findings and follow-up recommendations become more useful when they remain attached to the right property and system.

An HVAC Passport does not replace a current professional assessment, equipment manual, warranty record, permit, code certificate or safety inspection required for another purpose.
One connected record
The system preserves the boundary between customer-provided context, active booking status and documentation that B.C HVAC has reviewed and released.
A customer can begin with the property, equipment type and only the identifying details they actually know. Missing model, serial or age information stays visibly unrecorded instead of being guessed.
A B.C HVAC booking links the property, equipment, booked scope and service status so the customer does not have to reconstruct the same context at every visit.
Customer-visible inspection results, service summaries and recommendations appear only after the service documentation reaches B.C HVAC's release stage.
The customer can review prior records and start a repeat booking with the relevant property, equipment and service already connected.
HVAC Passport functionality grows from real B.C HVAC interactions. The absence of a field or record should be treated as unknown—not inferred, fabricated or silently completed.
Customer and service value
A useful history helps customers and future assigned professionals understand what was documented without turning a past inspection into a permanent claim.
Find released service documentation in one private account.
See which equipment and property a prior service record belongs to.
Review the documented summary, inspection results and recommendations.
Start repeat service with relevant booking context already connected.
Keep public feedback optional and separate from record access.
Privacy, accuracy and access
Clear boundaries matter as much as the feature itself.
HVAC Passport is the private equipment and released service-history feature inside My B.C HVAC. It keeps known property and equipment context connected to customer-visible B.C HVAC documentation.
No. Equipment records and service documentation are account-protected customer information. The public page explains the feature; it does not expose a customer's property, equipment or service history.
No. It preserves known information and released documentation from specific service events. It is not a warranty, code certificate or promise of current or future equipment condition.
Completed work appears in the customer's HVAC Passport after B.C HVAC reviews and releases the applicable documentation. An unfinished or cancelled booking does not become a released service record.
No. Reviews are always optional. HVAC Passport access, service history and future booking do not depend on leaving public or private feedback.
HVAC Passport records are customer-account information. B.C HVAC's privacy policy explains how account, booking and service information is handled.
